It’s a bit complicated when we are talking about Logitech K520 software. First of all, it’s actually Logitech MK520.
The K520 is some kind of a shorter version to refer to the device. Second, it’s basically a combo unit, consisting of a keyboard and a mouse.
Both of them are wireless, which is believed to add up the extra benefits and functions. It’s kind of true, if you think about it.
When you have wireless keyboard as well as the mouse, you really don’t have to worry about anything else. Plus, you can expect improved performance.
The Overall Feel
Both of the keyboard and the mouse are extremely comfy when used. You can tell that both of them are constructed from quality materials.
Moreover, when you add such a feature with the handy design and layout, you get yourself quality accessories that can boost your performance.
The Keyboard’s Feel
The keyboard has good response to the overall activity and use, going well with the keys’ flat profile. It has actuation to 2mm that can actually help you improve your typing speed.
To type fast is a breeze with this keyboard, and it feels comfortable too. The switches (located under the key shell) are basically silicone.
That’s why the keyboard has this nice and soft impact without compromising the responsive quality.
The Mouse Function
The mouse has a nice design – at least more than enough and pretty decent. It has a big arch, designed to let your palm rest on it comfortably.
Unfortunately, the mouse doesn’t have extra buttons. It only comes with the standard buttons of scroll wheel, right button, and left button.
The mouse has passed the surface test quite well. You can use it on marble, glass, laminate, wood, carpet, and even denim surface, and you won’t compromise the response at all. It may lag a bit on glass, but it’s not often.
Power and Battery
Since both of the devices are wireless, you can expect battery power on them. You only use one battery (the AA type) for the mouse, while you use two batteries for the keyboard.
The company claims that the mouse can last to a year with one battery only, but they don’t provide information about the keyboard.
Many users claim that they can use their mouse to 3 years. It means that battery cycle depends on the device, the condition during use, and your own activity.
Now that you already understand all of these good features of Logitech K520 software, what would you do about it?
